Your Therapist abbie
Abbie has almost 20 years experience as a physiotherapist, with 10 of those specialising in women’s and pelvic health. Abbie, originally from Kent, spent 10 years living in Australia where she worked at a top women’s health physiotherapy clinic in Sydney and started to explore her interest in pelvic health.
In 2018 Abbie returned to Kent and has been working as a women’s health physiotherapist for a renowned London company. She is now excited to be able to offer high standards of treatment here in Kent.
Abbie enjoys treating the whole body but for the last 10 years has been successfully helping women overcome their pelvic health challenges and empowering them to reach their individualised goals.
She is particularly passionate about helping women with issues to do with pregnancy, birth and the post-natal period, as well as other issues related to the pelvic floor. She believes that a thorough understanding of the whole body is essential to be able to treat these challenges effectively.
Abbie blends her skills in musculoskeletal and women’s health physiotherapy to consider the impact the whole body can have on a variety of pelvic health conditions such as incontinence, prolapse and diastasis rectus abdominus.
