What is CHIROPODY AND PODIATRY

Podiatry is an extension of Chiropody. While providing the same high level of routine foot care, Podiatrists are trained to a much higher standard (BSc. Podiatric Medicine). 

Podiatrists tend to specialise in areas of foot care such as the prescription of surgical foot wear, orthotic devices (insoles to correct gait irregularities), foot surgery, diabetic foot care & Podopaediatrics (the study and correction of children's foot deformity).

The majority of Simons work is Routine Chiropody as well as the high risk foot with particular reference to diabetes minor foot surgery and diabetic foot care. Simon undertakes many procedures using local anaesthetic to ensure patient pain free experience.
