Background and Clinical Experience

For over a decade I have been working in an intensive multi-disciplinary rehabilitation programme for individuals recovering after stroke or severe traumatic brain injury, or other types of acquired brain injury (i.e. hypoxia following cardiac arrest, drug overdose and inflammations of the brain).

I supported adults and teenagers with Autism, ADHD, other special educational needs and challenging behaviour in the social-therapeutic environment of the international Camphill Community Movement, and later with Kent County Council.

I continue to participate regularly in the Upledger CranioSacral Therapy Intensive Programmes with multiple therapist treatments for post-traumatic stress and other chronic conditions, and I assist in Upledger Institute UK training programmes.
