Red Light & Nr Infrared Therapy

How does Red LED Red light and NR infrared light therapy work?

Red light and Nr Infrared light therapy is a holistic therapy that uses LEDs to produce therapeutic light wave lengths that penetrate the skin.

The Human body is built with billions of cells. The health of the cell, its integrity, has a huge impact on our everyday lives and how out body functions The Powerhouse or brain of every cell is called the Mitochondria, which produces ATP. ATP is the energy the cell uses to heal itself.

If the cell is struggling and fatigued then the ATP ‘the cells energy’ maybe low and the brain of the cell may not have the energy to instruct the cell to heal itself, which means our body may struggle to repair, recover and rejuvenate.

Red light which is a visible, has a wave length of around 8-10 mm. This is very beneficial for skin conditions, treating scars and issues close to the surface such as wounds, cuts, and is particularly effective in treating infections.

Nr Infrared light penetrates the body at a depth of around 4-5 inches. This wave length makes it more effective for bones, joints, deep muscles.

At ProHealth we are very happy to be able to offer you ‘Full body’ back and front Red and Nr Infrared therapy. This allows the light waves to penetrate through both sides of your body for maximum cellular repair for your body.
