A few words from Sunita

My role is to listen and provide a safe space to explore your feelings. Together we will establish a treatment plan that suits your needs. Therapy provides a safe, non judgemental space to explore your feelings and your thoughts. It is important to remember talking therapy is a means of self care, giving yourself time to reflect on your own needs just as much as we work on our health physically. I work with a range of difficulties including, self esteem, self worth, self confidence, anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, bereavement, sleep problems and addictions, to name a few.

If you would like to book in please call ProHealth reception with your contact details and I will contact you for an informal chat, this is to discuss what your presenting issue is, this also gives you an opportunity to discuss any questions you have about therapy.
I look forward to hearing from you.

meet Polly- Childrens counsellor

I’m Polly, and for over 25 years I’ve worked with children and families, seeing first-hand how many people struggle — and how powerful it can be to have the right support. I’m a qualified counsellor, trained to work with both children and adults, I offer a calm, caring space where you can gently explore what’s going on for you.

My person-centred approach means I’ll listen without judgement or pressure, helping you to make sense of thoughts and feelings at your own pace. Together, we can find ways to understand what’s happening, build confidence, and move forward towards greater balance and connection.

Having worked for many years in a variety of school settings, I have witnessed first-hand the decline in children’s mental health. This has made me deeply committed to making a positive difference. So many children and young people struggle to access their learning and reach their full potential because of poor mental health. I believe that by offering a safe and supportive space to explore their feelings and emotions and by equipping them with practical tools and coping strategies for everyday worries, stress, and anxiety I can help them to build resilience and create meaningful, positive change in their lives.

I also work with adults and have supported many people as they navigate challenging aspects of life. Whether it’s coping with stress, managing anxiety, dealing with relationship difficulties, or facing major life transitions, I provide a safe and non-judgemental space where individuals can explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace. By helping  people gain insight, develop coping strategies, and reconnect with their own strengths, I aim to empower individuals to move forward with confidence and resilience.

Having worked for CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) as a clinician I am aware first hand of the lack of services available. I feel passionately about being able to offer a therapeutic space to young people enabling them to move forward with their future goals and ambitions.

Currently, I am a lead counsellor in two Secondary Schools and I see adults at ProHealth Therapy rooms private practice, agencies and healthcare settings.
